September 26, 2024, Mumbai: Hurun India has launched the first edition of the 2024 Hurun India Under35s, featuring 150 dynamic entrepreneurs under the age of 35 who are revolutionizing the Indian business landscape. This list highlights the youth power driving innovation and entrepreneurship, covering a range of industries from Financial Services to Media & Entertainment.

The Spirit of Indian Entrepreneurship

Anas Rahman Junaid, MD and Chief Researcher at Hurun India, emphasized:

“Our research highlights the vibrant entrepreneurial energy within India’s Under-35 population, particularly as the country’s economic landscape grows. These young leaders have built significant enterprises, many overcoming inflationary pressures, geopolitical uncertainties, and market challenges.”

Key Highlights:

  • The average enterprise value for entrepreneurs under 30 is around US$10 million.
  • More experienced Under-35s showcase businesses valued at US$50 million.
  • Some companies have reached valuations up to a hundred times that.

With India’s booming economy, these entrepreneurs are positioned to transition into the senior business elite in the coming years.


Geographical Distribution: Where Are They From?

The 2024 Hurun India Under35s list covers entrepreneurs from 41 cities. However, two cities dominate the list: Bengaluru and Mumbai, contributing 37% of the total names. New Delhi takes third place with 21 representatives.
